Freeze Ups & Burst Pipes

Poorly insulated or non-insulated pipes, especially in or on exterior-facing walls, can freeze – or worse, burst – when subjected to long periods of below-freezing cold. A burst pipe will send water flooding into your home.

If your pipes have frozen, there’s a good chance it has already cracked. You may notice a bulge or crack with ice seeping out. (This means the pipe has burst but has not yet thawed enough to flood your house). You also might notice frost on the outside of the pipe, a bad smell from your drain or faucet, no water coming out of your faucet when you use them, or strange sounds coming from your pipes or when you flush a toilet.

If any of these things happen, immediately locate your main water supply and shut it off. Then call us!

We are available to thaw, repair, or replace leaking, damaged, or burst pipes. We also offer water remediation services to help return your home to normal and prevent the growth of mold.

Emergency Water Remediation

Water damage is a very serious problem. Left untreated, it can lead to mold growth, which has negative health effects and can damage your property value. Signs of water damage are difficult to notice and include brown stains on your walls or ceiling, condensation in hour home, or a leaking roof.

If you notice your home has suffered from water or flood damage, it’s important to take immediate action:

  • Move any furniture into a dry area. Wood and fabric will absorb water very quickly, and they can be damaged very easily, so they should be moved out of the area as soon as possible.
  • Find the source of the leak and try to stop the water. If you can’t find the leak or stop it, you may want to turn off your home’s water supply.
  • Call us! We offer emergency water remediation services anywhere in the Greater Boston Area.

Emergency Flooding Repairs

When your home is flooded, it’s important to get the water out as quickly as possible. The sooner you get the water out, the less damage you’ll experience from the walls, carpet, flooring, ceiling, and furniture becoming waterlogged. No matter how small or large the issue is – from a flooded water heater closet to a basement with several feet of standing water – we’ll make sure that it’s taken care of promptly and professionally. We’ll remove the water as quickly as possible to prevent further damage from occurring, and then set up dehumidifiers to ensure you home is dried out as quickly as possible. Once your home is completely dry, we’ll provide you with a damage repair estimate. The main thing is to call us as soon as possible to begin the repair and flood restoration process.
